Lake Placid: The Final Chapter is the fourth film in the Lake Placid franchise. Set in the remote woods of Maine, the movie follows a group of park rangers, law enforcement, and survivors who are forced to contend with a new batch of genetically modified giant crocodiles. These deadly creatures are attacking people in the area, and it’s up to a former sheriff (Yancy Butler) to lead a group of survivors in an effort to stop the monsters before they wreak havoc on the community. Meanwhile, the local government is secretly involved in illegal genetic experiments, which has led to the creation of these aggressive crocodiles.
