Lake Placid: Legacy is the sixth installment in the Lake Placid series. The film follows a group of young adults who travel to the remote Black Lake in Maine, hoping to uncover the truth about the mysterious disappearances that have occurred in the area. They quickly realize that the lake is home to a series of dangerous, massive crocodiles, descendants of the original creature from the first Lake Placid movie. As the group attempts to escape, they find themselves fighting for survival against both the bloodthirsty reptiles and a powerful conspiracy surrounding the lake.
